On June 12, 2025, AI-Matters and EDIH Paris-Saclay co-organized the session “Accelerating SME Digital Transformation: Opportunities from EDIH Paris-Saclay & AI-Matters” as part of the List Tech Days at CEA-List (Nano-INNOV, Palaiseau). This session brought together numerous ecosystem stakeholders with a shared goal: to present concrete and accessible solutions to industrial SMEs to help them succeed in their digital transformation.
The session began with an introduction to the EDIH Paris-Saclay and TEF AI-Matters programs, two European initiatives funded by the European Commission and the Île-de-France Region (for the EDIH Paris-Saclay).
These two complementary programs (EDIH Paris-Saclay and AI-Matters) offer a comprehensive pathway to improving the digital maturity of SMEs in the field of new digital technologies—from needs assessment and skills development to experimentation and practical implementation.
The session continued with the round table “The Digitalization Journey of an SME,” featuring a panel of speakers with diverse perspectives:
- Jean-François De Sallier – Business Developer Europe, Haption
- Vivien Lacône – Regional Head of Industry Market Manager, CCI Paris Ile-de-France
- Anne-Céline Lamballe – Executives Deep Tech Innovation Director, Inria Academy
- Martin Courchesne – Head of the Interactive Simulation Laboratory, CEA-List
- David Servat – Head of European Affairs, CEA-List
- Christophe Leroux – Head of European Affairs, CEA-List
These discussions highlighted the strength of collaboration between regional players, technical experts, and industry representatives in delivering tailored and accessible support.
We warmly thank all the speakers for the quality of their insights, as well as the participants for their engagement.
