A look back at the day-long EKIP seminar at Nanno Innov (CEA-List) on November 18, 2025, dedicated to AI and intelligent humanoid robotics, which brought together business leaders from SMEs and ETI equipment manufacturers in the food industry.
A day rich in discoveries for participants
Caroline Vienne (Deputy Head of the Interactive Robotics Department, CEA-List) opened the seminar by introducing the major themes of the event: AI and robotics, an essential synergy for shaping a more agile, high-performance industrial future.
Visitors then discovered the various platforms and interactive robotics, illustrating advances in artificial intelligence applied to robotics and the factory of the future, developed by CEA-List.

Introducing AI-MATTERS
Gerold Schröpfer continued with a presentation of AI-MATTERS, emphasizing the importance of providing SMEs with simplified access to advanced infrastructures for testing and deploying industrial AI solutions. It was also an opportunity to emphasize the key role of an integrated ecosystem, where applied research and field feedback mutually enrich each other to develop solutions adapted to a constantly evolving environment.

To round things off, Cédric Vasseur, expert speaker in Robotics & AI, spoke about the key advances in these fields in industry, as well as the challenges to be met for successful integration.
The day’s rich exchanges clarified the concrete uses of AI and robotics, considered their organizational impacts and identified innovation prospects for the companies and laboratories present.
