AI-MATTERS is the European Testing and Experimentation Facility (TEF ) dedicated to the manufacturing sector.
The aim is to accelerate the use of artificial intelligence in European industry, particularly among SMEs, by offering services and technological access to large-scale test environments (thanks to digital twins, robots, AI-integrated manufacturing chains, etc.).
The AI-MATTERS network brings together several platforms across Europe, with a unified service, while highlighting the specific skills of each site.
The impact of AI in industry, and particularly in SMEs, is a major issue. The TEF network enables them to benefit from :
- large-scale AI demonstrators,
- technical and legal services,
- support in upgrading skills.
The aim is to promote the reliable, efficient and ethical adoption of artificial intelligence.
About David Servat:
David Servat is a senior robotics researcher and European expert at CEA LIST. He holds a PhD in AI applied to robotic and industrial systems. He is heavily involved in the design and coordination of European projects on advanced robotics and digital twins. He is the technical coordinator of the AI-MATTERS TEF project, in charge of its implementation and strategic orientations.
